WINE TASTING
The vineyards around Montopoli in Val d’Arno are very impressive. Because of the special weather circumstances the grapes of these wineries have achieved a special taste. Thanks to this excursion you will be able to see the process of how the wine has been accomplished. You will also walk through the wine cellar and get the chance to taste some of the wines with some nice Tuscan snacks. One of the well known products of Italy is OLIVE OIL. How do we get such a good product out of olives is the question? With this excursion you will find out! Toscana Village organizes for you the visit of a nice olive oil Press which is only 7 km from the campsite. You will have the possibility of seeing how they produce olive oil and the chance of tasting it. This excursion is proposed once per week all the year round. The art of cooking is not strange to the Tuscan people. With their fresh ingredients and passion for food they make sure that their meals are always delicious! How to make a typical Tuscan plate of food you will learn taking part to this excursion. And the best part of the workshop will be …. eating the delicious meal you have made! The cultural association "Arte e Mestieri" organizes for our guests this cooking course by their head office in the historical centre of the village Montopoli. Moreover, a pleasant BBQ is proposed once a week in peak season. You will enjoy the typical homely Tuscan background and eat good food produced directly by the farmer.
