Arrival at the Toscana village camping ground. Guests who will land at Pisa or Florence airport will be picked up by our chauffeur
Welcome drink at the Toscana Village’s bar.
Guest will have the possibility of walking to the close village of Montopoli and of enjoying the beautiful landscape of vineyards, olive trees and cypresses around. In the evening the group will dinner at a local restaurant specialised in typical Tuscan foods.
Monday
In the morning we will leave to Florence
In Florence you will walk around visiting the most important momuments of this magnificent town
Once back to the campsite, you will have some time to rest and to get ready for the first workshop at the cooker’s home
Mrs Ciampolini will give you a very warm welcome with an excellent local wine. The first lesson will be completely dedicated to the preparation of mixed hors d’oeuvres and pasta dishes.
Tuesday
In the morning we will visit San Miniato, a medieval village situated on a hill just a few Km from Montopoli in Val d’ Arno. In San Miniato we will also visit the local olive oil mill and some other producers of typical food from this area such as white truffle, cheese and ham.
Free afternoon to relax or do what you like.
At about six o’clock pm the group will join again to attend the second class of the cooking workshop.
On Tuesday evening the teacher will show you how to cook some tipical Italian meat recipes
Wednesday
In the morning visit of Siena
Besides of visiting the magnificent monuments of Siena, the ones who are interested in could have a rest at one of the most typical shop of the town. Here you will have the opportunity of tasting a very special ham called cinta senese ham
At six pm the group will join to the third cooking class at the cooker’s home
You will learn how to cook delicious vegetarian dishes
Thursday
Both cities are well known because of their historical and cultural aspects and because of their beautiful location. Here, surrounded by ancient buildings and far away from the modern way of living, you will feel like going back to the Middle Ages.
In San Gimignano we suggest you to taste the excellent wine “Vernaccia di San Gimignano” or “Chianti dei Colli Senesi”. In Volterra we will stop in a famous local patisserie in order to taste the “panforte”, the “cantuccini”, the “Vinsanto” wine and other excellent Tuscan cakes.
At six pm the group will meet at the cooker’s house
On Thursday evening the cooker will show how to prepare typical Tuscan farmer’s soups
Friday
In the morning, leaving to Pisa and sightseeing of the town.
Once back, you will visit a local farm, tasting typical Tuscan products. Walk in the wineyard surrounded by olive groves and fig trees.
6 o’ clock p.m.: Time for cooking lesson at Mrs. Ciampolini’s home.
According to the Italian tradition, fish is eaten at dinner time. The cooker will show you how to prepare some really tasting fish recipes, which are easy to cook too.
Saturday
Sightseeing of Lucca
6 o’ clock p.m.: Cooking workshop
During the last class our cooker will teach you how to prepare typical Italian cakes and recipes made with fresh fruit.
Sunday
Departure from the camping Toscana Village and transfer to the airport
